Sen Gideons News Studio is an independent publication based in Ghana. It is written and edited by Sen Gideons, a Ghanaian web developer and technical writer.
Who runs this site
I publish under the name Sen Gideons. I live and work in Ghana. My day-to-day work is software: Python (including Tkinter desktop apps), web development, and explaining technical processes in plain language. That is the credential behind the coding tutorials on this site — I write from projects I actually build, not from press releases.
The nursing and education guides are written for Ghanaian students and early-career professionals who need a clear walkthrough of the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) process, exam prep, and career paths. I am not the NMC, not a government agency, and not a replacement for official notices on nmc.gov.gh. Where a post cites fees, dates, or forms, treat the Council’s site as the source of truth and email me if something here has gone stale.
What this site is for
sengideons.com exists to explain Ghana-relevant stories and how-tos without assuming you already know the system. The desk covers three beats:
- Education and careers in Ghana — NMC licensing and registration, nursing career paths, and practical exam-prep notes for people studying in Accra and across the country.
- Technology — phone and gadget reviews aimed at Ghanaian buyers, plus Python and web tutorials from real projects.
- Ghana culture — music, film, and public figures, written as explainers rather than gossip dumps.
If a post cannot name a source, show a step, or add something you would not get from a generic recap, it does not belong here.
